It promises to be a comedy fantasy film and brand new take on the classic Snow White fairytale.
And, judging by the new film stills from Mirror Mirror, movie-goers will be remembering the outlandish costumes as much as the fantastical plot lines.
In one ball scene, Lily Collins, who plays Snow White, wears a bizarre swan headdress and matching wings as she takes the hand of co-star Armie Hamer, who plays handsome Prince Andrew Alcott.
But Hammer sports an equally bizarre top hat with rabbit ears poking out of the top as he dances opposite her.

In another shot, the pair are seen dancing among a gaggle of oddly dressed courtiers dressed as insects, with one woman wearing what appears to be a lobster headdress.
Meanwhile, Julia Roberts, as the evil Queen, is seen in a extravagant red and white gown, complete with peacock feathers and head piece, being escorted by Hammer,

The star wears a variety of over-the-top gowns for the retelling, with another shot featuring her wearing a large tangerine coloured gown sitting on a gold throne.
She is also seen in an opulent white outfit and veil, in a type of wedding ensemble.
However, although her character Queen Clementianna, is known as the 'evil queen', Roberts says she is more insane than nasty.

'I think she's a lunatic, not unlikeable. She's crazy,' Roberts told Access Hollywood about her character.
'She’s not evil; she’s just insecure,' agreed director Tarsem Singh. 'She’s insecure about beauty, about things that are passing her by, and now she wants to have power.'
But it seems Roberts’s three children, seven-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and four-year-old Henry will even have to wait to see her latest film, family flick Mirror Mirror.

'I think they are [too young] considering the part that I play,' she told reporters at a recent press conference for the film.
Meanwhile, Collins gets to wear slightly less extravagant costumes following her swan ensemble, but nevertheless sports some floaty dresses and rich colour.
'The costumes are out of this world,' she said at a recent press conference. ''I’ve always wanted to do a period piece, and these costumes, they’re couture. It’s like wearing art.

'Everyone loves that Julia smile and laugh and she maintains that, but in the film she has this creepy eerie way that you don’t know if you love her or hate her.
'She’s brilliant and it’s been an honour. She’s so nice, she’s so classy, she’s just everything I had hoped she’d be.'
But Lily said the Pretty Woman actress often struggled with her villainous alter-ego on the set.
She added: 'Julia gets to be quite horrible to me. There’s a scene where she pulls my hair and she pulled it so hard that some of it came out!

'But we kept rolling and afterwards she was like, "I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!"'
However, this light hearted adaptation is not to be confused with another new reincarnation, Snow White & The Huntsman.
The other hotly-anticipated version stars Kristen Stewart as the title character, Charlize Theron as the Queen and former Home & Away star Chris Hemsworth (brother of Luke and Liam) as the Prince.
The darker twist will be released after Mirror Mirror, this June.

She revealed to the magazine: ‘I'm the disciplinarian. I think it's because I was kind of a naughty kid myself - I'd push my parents' buttons and test them to see how much I could get away with.

Sadly, the 17-year-old was so busy with her first ever board lesson that after her Sunday soundbite from The Bible (the classic 'do unto others'), she didn't get time to update her account with a sentence sloshing with 's' noises.
Courtney, who is married to X Files 'creep' Doug Hutchison, 51, managed to get a line of torrid prose rattled on Saturday, however, as she enjoyed the beach in a more leisurely fashion.

Courtney seemed to have dealt with the issue by the time she got around to her lesson the next day, happily enough.

Very patriotic of her, we're sure you'll agree.

The mistake has since been corrected, but the gaff was originally picked up by Buzzfeed.com.

The clan was seen leaving their hotel in Amsterdam with two huge new additions to the family.
And as Angelina Jolie and two of her children made their way through LAX it appears the gigantic teddy bears are heading home with them.
The 36-year-old actress was seen with her daughters Shiloh, five and Zahara, seven, and the girl group had two huge teddy bears in tow.

While Shiloh was happy to carry hers through airport security Angelina was left cuddling Shiloh's bear as she tried to hold on to her children too.
Little Shiloh was dwarfed by her brown-coloured bear but clung onto the teddy as the family made their way out of an Emergency Exit door.
The actress appeared amused by their new friends as she and daughters Shiloh, five, and Zahara, seven, left their Amsterdam hotel earlier in the day accompanied by the oversized toys.

The 36-year-old held hands with daughter Shiloh, who looked eager to take her teddy bear off her mother's hands.
Both toys were dressed in super hero outfits.
Angelina, meanwhile was in sedate black following a her attendance at the trial of Thomas Lubanga, who was convicted of snatching children and using them as killers for his political movement the Union of Congolese Patriots.

The actress was seen sitting quietly listening to the trial on a pair of headphones as the International Criminal Court found him guilty.
Leaving court, Jolie said she was thrilled with the outcome of the case.
She said: 'This is their day - where these children will feel there is no impunity for what happened to them, for what they suffered.'
Later, Angelina accompanied the girls on a boat ride on the canals.

It was just the three of them with the girls' brothers Maddox, 10; Pax, eight; Knox and his twin sister Vivienne, three, nowhere to be seen.

Ever the entertainer, little Shiloh pulled faces at photographers, leaving her mother in giggles.
Their Dutch trip comes two days after the trio were spotted in Paris.

It's thought the rest of the children are with their father Brad Pitt. The celebrity couple often split the care of their children up between them if their commitments overlap and require them to be on different sides of the world at the same time.
For the most part, they manage to ensure their schedules allow one to accompany the other with their children to various filming locations, premieres and charitable commitments.

So it is not surprising that R&B singer and rapper Drake has taken full advantage of what his superstar status has to offer.
In a new interview with the latest issue of U.S. GQ magazine, the suave star admits he used to sleep with 'tons of women', but now it 'just doesn't really work' for him.
He adds: 'Where I was in that sort of "I'm young, I'm going to disconnect from my emotions and just do what everyone else tells me I should do and just be a rapper and have my fun.'"

The 25-year-old singer appears on one of three covers of the 'Style Bible' issue of GQ magazine, looking dapper in a sharp blue suit and beige tie.

He also addresses the fame and how the subject matter of his songs have changed as he's become more successful.
'I'm trying to find the same feelings that I had for women when I had very little going on, which is tough,' he says.

Amanda has certainly been keeping busy in the weeks following Hollie's birth on 23rd January, with her role on the upcoming new series of Britain's Got Talent.

If you are looking for a way to express your love, turn to art.
A New York-based artist has been inviting amorous couples to make creative magic on his canvas by covering themselves in paint and letting their impulses get the better of them.
Alexander Esguerra leaves the couples in a completely private setting - no Andy Warhol-style voyeurism here - with low-lighting, candles and even a heated canvas.
'Love is a powerful creative force,' says the 30 year-old, who came up with the idea after a night of passion.

Creative force: The thirty-year-old Parson's graduate says that 'love is a creative force' and tells the couples (nearly 50 have signed up so far) to 'have fun with the paint, but don't make it all about the paint'

'I woke up one morning after a sexual encounter and my normally organized room was a mess,” he told the New York Daily News.
'I wanted to artistically capture those moments through the act of sex that our bodies interacted and affected the space around us without bringing in that whole played-out porn spiel.'
Nearly fifty couples have been inspired to sign up for the project.
They cover themselves in non-toxic, water-based paint and set up the canvas on a floor covered in plastic.There's nothing smutty about it.

Inspired events: The artist came up with the idea after a night of passion when he woke up to find his room a mess and wanted to 'artistically capture' the moment when two individuals interact in the most private way

No barriers: Mr Esguerra likens the idea to couples therapy but encourages his clients not to take it too seriously

'I tell them to take the paint, lay on top of the canvas and pour it on each other. Look in your partner's eyes and make love as you would normally.'
Any one can take part.
'Sex is basically the great equaliser,' said Mr Esguerra.

No restrictions: The project celebrates the limitless possibilities of love and sex - age, race, gender and sexuality is not evident when it comes to the art

'You look at these paintings and you can’t tell if the couple was gay or straight or old or young or married or cheating.'
He likens the idea to couples therapy but encourages his clients not to take it too seriously.
'Have fun with the paint, but don't make it all about the paint,' the Parson's graduate tells them.

Mr Esguerra is now preparing for his seventh exhibition of Love and Paint, launching next Tuesday at famously wild New York nightclub, The Box.
